This month’s theme is all about HEALING and the need for taking care of yourself when feeling overloaded. Particularly at the start of a new year, overwhelming feelings of "It's back to reality now" begin to settle in and can be heavy.
This monthly toolbox is designed to help with ensuring you and the little ones around you are supported, to help you heal through this transitional period into the new year and move forward in a positive, relaxing way the best you can. Do all of the techniques, or choose the ones you relate to most ~ It’s about finding methods that lift any weight off your shoulders and bring you calm. We are here for you, for them.

HEAL THE MIND
Remind yourself of three things each morning that you are good at or that make you who you are. To heal the self we must start with healing the mind and the thoughts.
MAKE A NOTE
Make a note of the things that you really need right now in this moment to help you, maybe that is sharing the load, maybe it is using a breathing technique, maybe it is reassuring yourself you are doing the best you can.
HEAL AND REPLENISH
Imagine yourself as a jug of water, every time you give out emotional and physical energy, your jug becomes depleted and will eventually run dry! Take moments to heal and replenish to ensure you won’t run on empty, so you can give your best support to your students.
